The Client – The Post Youth Center – Goshen, Indiana
- 2021 – Present
- Services Rendered: Website Design and Continued Support
The Post is a Christ-centered non-profit youth center located in downtown Goshen. 20 years ago, Lon and Judy Miller had a vision and desire to reach the youth of our community. They wanted to establish a place where everyone was welcome regardless of their background, family structure, or beliefs. Their goal was to share the love of Christ with any middle school or high school student that walked through the doors.
The Goal – Providing an Online Headquarters
The Post was in need of a website that acted as an online hub for their community activities. It needed to be easy to use for both those the Center serves as well as community partners and donors. The website needed to be convenient to update and allow for contact forms, donation portals, social media feeds to name a few of the requested features.
The Website Design Process
The site design was implemented after full discussions with The Post Youth Center leadership. This was to ensure a design that fit their needs and expectations. The Center’s existing branding was integrated into the site. Custom photography and graphics were designed and the website was laid out in a friendly, clean manner. Easy to use contact forms and donation portals were designed for optimum conversion.
Put To Use
Upon launch, the site was immediately put to use and saw a radical increase in the amount of usage by community members and donors. The improved user interface on both the public and admin sides, allowed for the site to be used in a way far beyond the ‘static’ implementation that was in use previously. Skyflare Visual Media continues to provide support on a regular basis to keep the site updated, secure and ready to use by The Post staff.
